Leaving Saturday, May 26 at 10am from the Waffle House at 400/Holcomb Bridge/Hwy 92 (not the one at Old Alabama). We will take back roads to Ellijay and eat lunch at Poole's BBQ. We'll jump on 515 at Ellijay and cruise about 15 miles to Blue Ridge, then take country roads to Tellico Plains TN where we'll be camping at at Cycle Resort. (http://www.cycleresort.com/cherohala_maps.html) No reservations needed for tent camping.
Cycle Resort's tent camping is $12 ($15 for electric hookup) and no reservations are needed. They have 4 nice, clean bathrooms.
A sidenote: I believe this is in a dry county -- if you want certain beverages, you may have to "import" them. J
