International Motorcycle Show

NOTE TO ALL, THE IMS SHOW IS NOT AT THE COBB GALLERIA CENTER THIS YEAR!!!!!!

The IMS show is this weekend. This year it is at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta. Take I-75/85 to Williams Street. Go straight to International Drive, take a right, and go until you see the Congress center on your right and parking down in the basement on the left.

Motorcycles park free in the green lot which is across from the Omni Hotel just before you get to the GWCC on the right side. Go to www.gwcc.com and look at directions and you can print out a 50% off parking pass for those who drive a cage.

Printed the ticket, bought my tickets ($12 at the door) online for $10 (and then they add a $1 service charge) and printed out the discount parking ticket (K1100LT is getting the seat re-upholstered) for the Jeep. Though the KLR650 does have passenger pegs, Debbie and I don't fit on it long enough to get to town (2 miles away) much less the 100 miles each way to Atlanta.

Hope to see a few of you there, we're out the door in minutes.

I had a great time at the show. Bumped into a couple club members, tried on lots of jackets, sat on a lot of bikes, took a lot of pictures, and picked up about 15 pounds of reading material. Managed not to spend any money, but enjoyed myself just the same.
