After 10 years on the brick '96 K1100RS, I made the mistake of riding the R1200RT. I never knew that "less was more" (2 cylinders, that is). My only problem is spreading out the riding between the hexhead, brick and my airhead? The "Old Gray Lady" (R-65) is not taking this lightly.
Suggestions welcome on mending hurt feelings.

I made the same move from a '96 KRS to an 05 RT. I still love riding the RS but was forced to admit that the RT has better handling than the RS. And this with the RS equipped with an Ohlins rear shock and Remus exhaust !
I find I enjoy commuting with the RS more as it a quicker machine than the RT. But for the long rides with the wife, the RT really shines. Can't comment on the airhead as I have never owned one. Started riding K-bikes in '85. RT is my first boxer.
