While taking off the cap on the brake fluid resevoir, I managed to fling a few drops of fluid on to the bike. I cleaned up quickly and thought all was good. However, the next day, I realized I had missed a few drops that had hit the plexiglass face of the odometer which had a few nasty etched drip marks - hence the :emoticon-0183-swear.
I tried cleaning with numerous items including water, Glass Plus, Plexus, etc., with no results. Finally, after much poking around, I came across Maguier's PlastX. The stuff worked extremely well - the marks are almost completely gone :emoticon-0102-bigsm.
Thought I'd pass along the tid-bit to anyone like me who suffers from moments of stupidity.
